Ode to Old Dogs
Old dogs are treasures. Their soft eyes are windows to their gentle souls. Their greying muzzles are testaments to their success with learning how to navigate the human world. Their slower gait allows them, and us, to relax and breathe a bit deeper. I believe it is our greatest privilege to be able to care for old dogs in the special, senior years.
Hello 2024! And thanks, 2023. You were fun!
Here’s a look back on 2023. Spoiler alert… it was busy and fun! From expanded programs at our dog resort to more positive training and new certifications and awards, we packed in a lot of activity and accomplishment in 2023. We hope you enjoy our look back and will join us as we move forward into 2024, with gratitude and joy.
Thank you, Rhyder.
Rhyder was my sidekick for 13 years. He was a perpetual puppy and loved helping puppies learn that the world was safe and fun. He passed away, peacefully, on February 21, 2023, just a month short of his 15th birthday. He was, quite simply, an angel in dog form. I know the heavens are brighter now that his spirit has returned there. This is a post of gratitude for all Rhyder brought to my life and the lives of others. Thank you, Rhyder. Till we meet again.
Leaping Forward, Looking Back
We’re so excited for all that 2023 will bring and so very grateful for the goodness of 2022. Here’s a look back at ten things in 2022 that captured our energy, attention, and hearts.
