Have you heard the news….WE HAVE OPENED A SECOND CENTER to house our TRAINING ACADEMY. This center, located in north Chico, is allowing us to expand flagship program to more hours of the day and days of the week. We are dedicated to bringing nothing but the most positive and progressive training approaches to YOU and YOUR DOG!
Our DAYCARE and BOARDING program is currently accepting applications from our training clients only. For those not part of our training community, please stay tuned as we seek ways to expand our program and increase our capacity. We appreciate your understanding as we provide excellent care to those who are currently in our program. Did you just get a puppy?
Our Positive Puppy Program will help you socialize your puppy, manage puppy energy, and tackle unique puppy training challenges including house training, chewing, and biting. You’ll also learn fast and effective ways to start your dog learning important life skills including:
Attention to you
Calm behavior and impulse control
Greeting people politely
Sit, lie down, and wait
Enthusiastic recalls (come-when-called)
Comfort with walking on a leash
Need help with your teen or adult dog?
Our Teen and Adult Dog Training Program has started hundreds of dogs on the path to being well-mannered canine companions. We teach essential skills for your dog including:
Attention to you, even when there are distractions
Wait calmly for things he or she wants
Greet people calmly (as opposed to jumping on them boisterously)
Perform rock solid “canine calisthenics”: sits, downs, and stands
Walk nicely on a leash
Come when called – quickly and reliably
Feel and act calm, cool, and collected around distractions
Is your dog displaying anxiety or aggression?
Our anxiety and aggression services will help you:
Understand underlying factors that are driving behavior
Create realistic expectations for your situation
Identify ways to prevent anxiety and aggression
Create customized behavior programs to improve your dog’s behavior
Reduce stress for you and your dog!
