Daycare and Boarding Application

Thank you for your interest in our daycare and boarding program!

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT!

Please note that we only accept dogs for overnight boarding who are participants in daycare.

Start the Process!

  1. ONLINE APPLICATION. Please complete the online application below. This application form has two parts: Part 1 requests detailed information about your dog. Part 2 informs you of our daycare and boarding policies and procedures and asks you to note that you have read, understand, and agree with them. Please set aside approximately 20 minutes to complete this application. If you are enrolling more than one dog, you must complete a separate enrollment form for each dog.

  2. HEALTH DOCUMENTATION. Please contact your veterinary office and ask that they send to us documentation that your dog is current on the following vaccinations and fecal test.

    • Parvo-distemper (sometimes referred to as DHPP or DAPP)

    • Rabies

    • Bordetella

    • CIV (currently optional but strongly recommended)

    • Clear fecal test

  3. TEMPERAMENT EVALUATION. As soon as we have your completed application and health documentation, we’ll contact you to arrange a temperament evaluation. A temperament evaluation includes the following steps:

    1. After welcoming you and your dog to our resort, we introduce your dog to one of our play yards and give them time to sniff around and check it out. You are present for this.

    2. Once they are comfortable in the environment, we introduce a friendly dog (initially with fencing as a barrier for safety and assessment). You are present for this too.

    3. If your dog is comfortable with the first dog, we will introduce another, and (if your dog remains comfortable) another, one at a time, until we have a small play group of 3-4 dogs.

    4. Next, we see how your dog responds when you walk away and leave them with us (and during this time we give you a tour of our resort!).

    5. After a short play session, we see how your dog does while being asked to relax in one of our rest-time spots, a kennel suite or crate, depending on your dog’s experience.

    6. If the initial temperament evaluation suggests your dog will be comfortable in our social and rest-time settings, we will roll into a 4-hour observation day so we can get a better sense of your dog’s social aptitude and play style and they can get a better sense of us!

    7. If the initial evaluation suggests your dog is not comfortable - but could be with more exposure - we will arrange “happy visits” (short, fun visits) for your dog to gain the experience that may allow them to enjoy our resort.

    8. If the initial evaluation suggests your dog is not likely to be comfortable with us, we will suggest other resources for you.

  4. STARTER PEP CAMP. If your dog is successful with our initial temperament evaluation and observation day, they can be enrolled in “Starter Camp.” This is a 6-visit program required of all dogs who are new to our program. During these visits, we will carefully evaluate your dog’s play style and preferences along with training and enrichment needs. By the end of the 6-visit program, you will receive important information about which of our daycare programs is best for your dog.

  5. PEP CAMP GROUPING. Once your dog successfully completes Starter Camp, you can begin scheduling regular daycare and boarding visits and purchase our discount passes! If, at any time, it seems your dog isn not benefit from our program, we will recommend other helpful resources for you.

We look forward to meeting you and your dog! Woof!
