Puppy Social (for pups to 20 weeks enrolled in Puppy Kindergarten)

0312

Gracie, current Puppy Kindergarten student, and Cooper, Puppy Kindergarten grad, say “hello” at Puppy Yappy Hour.

Puppy Social is designed to give puppies opportunities to socialize with their puppy peers. This program is so much fun, for dogs AND their people, and is important for building positive associations with other dogs. Puppies between 9-20 weeks who are or have been enrolled in our Puppy Kindergarten program, can come on out and meet and greet other puppies, other puppy parents, and build a positive worldview!

Time: Sundays at 4 PM. Please note: we occasionally need to cancel Puppy Social. We email as far in advance when this occurs so please be sure you have completed your Puppy Kindergarten class registration with us so your email is current with us.

Cost: No charge but participation in Puppy Social is reserved for puppies who are students in our Puppy Kindergarten classes.

Vaccination Requirements: To participate in Puppy Social, pups must have been in their new home for a minimum of two weeks, and received the following vaccinations: at least one of their parvo-distemper vaccinations (often called DHPP) and bordetella. These vaccinations must have been administered at a veterinary office or by a licensed veterinarian. Many puppy vaccination packages do not include the bordetella vaccination so please ask your veterinarian about this additional vaccination. Please ask your veterinarian to FAX your pup’s vaccination records to us at 530-345-1939. We MUST receive documentation of vaccinations prior to your dog participating in our programs.

  • Your schedule or situation prevents participation in our group classes.
  • You have specific training goals, such as service dog tasks, that go beyond our group class curriculum.
  • You have very small children who you want involved in the training process.
  • You want to build a foundation with private training before coming into our Puppy Kindergarten class.

Cost: $125 (approx. 1 hour); sessions may be held at our center or your home*

* Additional rates apply to Durham, Paradise, Magalia, Hamilton City, and other areas.

Please note: We strongly believe that the best ongoing training experience for your puppy is our Puppy Kindergarten class which builds your relationship with your puppy while building a platform of positive socialization.
